Why this course starts at step 2B

I added this in because I thought it might look a bit confusing and people might conclude that a mistake was made or a lesson was missing.

This entire course is an addition to the Mutual Understanding and Agreements course. In that course, step 1 is for the sender to be understood, and there is one option for step 2 (Step 2a), which is to switch roles, before getting to step 3, agreements. That’s fine for everyday conflict. When having a conversation about a more difficult topic where the Sender has experienced the actions of the Receiver as very painful, we have additional steps after understanding to facilitate healing, before potentially switching roles, and before getting to agreements.

And that’s why this course starts with Step 2B. If you have the decks, the associated cards just continue from step 2A in the first deck.
